Don't know about you, but I've had a less than perfect week, so thought you might enjoy seeing something that always brings a smile to my face...the Mrs. Bunny cookie jar!
I can't believe that I almost sold her at my garage sale! What was I thinking??? Hope every bunny has a good weekend!
Hi Nancy, Your comment on Gollum's blog yesterday about water and the paradoxical commandments was so interesting that I clicked on your name and found that I know you from RMS and our mutual interest in gardening! This is such an adorable cookiejar. Glad you held on to her! Because I can't garden in the inclement weather we've had for the past 6 weeks, I've been out buying plants to put in the ground. Can hardly wait to restore our landscaping. I love what you and Tootsie are figuring out for your slope! Have fun blogging! Fieldstone/Pam
ReplyDeleteI arrived here, via Rue's blog.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the land of blog, Nancy Jane. I love your bunny cookie jar and I'm so happy you decided not to sell it at your garage sale. If that had happened, I would not be seeing it this fine Saturday morning.
I hope you keep blogging. I've been blogging since March 2007. When I began, at the encouragement of Kim at Daisy Cottage and Donna at the Decorated House, I thought, what in the world will I find to write about!! Well, I'm coming up on my 200th post, developed an avid interest in photography and "met" lots of wonderful folks in blogland! So, I guess I'll keep working on it awhile.
I enjoyed this visit and hope to visit here again, soon.
Pat
Hi Nancy Jane, thank you for visiting. To answer your question about the peanuts and soda, you pour a handful of peanuts into a bottle, then drink from the bottle. The peanuts fall into your mouth all mixed together with the soda. It is so good. A little treat, every now and then. We've been splitting our cans of Dublin Dr Pepper since it is such a rare treat we can't buy here in Missouri. Pouring the peanuts into a glass of soda, isn't quite the same as having them in the bottle, but we enjoy it just the same. I don't think the peanut/can of soda combo would work.
