Two weeks ago, this was the view from my bedroom window. It was an autumn filled with glorious color.

Yesterday morning, this was the view from my bedroom window...

We only had a couple of inches here, but there were power outages because it was a heavy wet snow mixed with sleet and it coated the leaves that were still clinging to the trees, causing them to topple and bring down power lines. Just a short distance away, in the Pocono Mountains, one area recorded
20 inches of the white stuff!!!
Last winter was pretty mild. Makes you wonder about
this winter!
Well that's a bummer...so much for the glorious fall....I hate to see winter rear her ugly head! Thanks for the birthday wishes. I appreciate it so much!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's good news for the guy growing poinsettias in your area. The more snow, the better his plants will sell :)
ReplyDeleteat least you have a beautiful white blanket!!!! we have cold, wind and freezing rain these days....it looks awful outside...dirty and dead. I can't beleive I am going to say that I am looking forward to the snow!
ReplyDeleteI miss you......
